2022 RICKSHAW Chardonnay

The 2022 growing season began with a dry winter and mild spring with limited rainfall, followed by ideal weather conditions through early summer.  A heat wave began in late August that resulted in an accelerated harvest and below average crop sizes, yielding smaller berries with concentrated flavors. Overall, the 2022 vintage produced high quality wines with excellent concentration and flavor complexity.

TASTING NOTES | The 2022 RICKSHAW Chardonnay is seamlessly bright. Aromas of pear, Golden Delicious apples, dried mango, and honeysuckle are complimented with hints of vanilla. There is a textured and layered weight on the mid-palate that leads to a pleasant oaky finish that is balanced with vibrant acidity, keeping the wine fresh.
